The school’s initial faculty is made up of a staff of 4 instructors. This includes one Headmistress and three specialized instructors that focus on Strength, Speed and Range.
Edith
Referred to by many as the last remaining true Lornian elder, Edith is strongest force to defy the evil Domidos. She feels as though the evolution of abilities should be harnessed and not forced and that education about power is more important than power itself. Edith is warm, friendly and maternal, but can also be deceptive, powerful and ruthless when innocent people are harmed.
Rhydon
Rhydon was always a ladies man and travelling from port to port made him leave his true emotions with the sea. When Edith approached him about teaching at Espeon, he declined at first and needed to be convinced that he was helping the greater good. Rhydon is clever, ironic and has a crude sense of humor, but he also cares for the students because they are the first stable people in his life.
Arbok
Arbok used to be a warm and loving family man – until Domidos’ army took it all away. Scorned and vengeful, Arbok now prides himself on getting even by any means necessary. Brash, rude and very straightforward, Arbok has a hidden agenda when it comes to teaching. He feels as though the students can be trained to become his own army so he can one day go and defeat Domidos himself.
Onyx
Onyx was always a mischievous child and carried a lot of this personality into adulthood. She’s always looking to be clever and feels as though defense magic can be fun and educational. Her teaching style is not traditional, but Edith feels as though Onyx can be a valuable ally to the students through the rigorous school year.
Towers are created by the Wizard and are placed in locations that are not invalid. Invalid locations include paths and special tiles that we tag as invalid in the map editor. For example, we may specify that there are trees in the edges of the map and make them invalid.
Each tower has a specified range and will only target creeps within that range. Some of the towers also affect a creep past its initial attack (Freeze and Damage Over Time).
Tree
Leafros was the first Elementum Edith learned to spawn. Taking the shape of a tree and wielding deadly apples, Leafros’ power is quite equal across the board. When you cast a boost upon Leafros, he will gain a chance to launch the poison apple. The poison apple will shrink opponents and enable Elementums to inflict double the regular damage.
Storm Cloud
Voltoss is the other Elementum that Edith teaches students to use. Voltoss’ strength is in consistency. By sending out an isolated storm, Voltoss can harm Uglores and Creeps as they pass by. Voltoss has the ability to stun opponents causing them to stop temporarily. When you cast a boost upon Voltoss the duration of the stun increases.
Fire Beast
Pyrus has been imprisoned in Gilpin Forest because the strong winds keep him at bay. Pyrus launches ambers of fire at Uglores and Creeps as they pass by. If struck by one of the ambers, Creeps are likely to ignite and receive constant damage for a short while. Pyrus sets creeps on fire with his attacks and when you cast a boost they split on impact and can inflict damage on other Creeps.
Ice Beast
Blizz has been imprisoned by Domidos in the Wastelands of Pannun because the dry heat keeps him sedated. Blizz’s ice shards not only inflict damage to Uglores and Creeps that pass by, they also slow the speed of anything they touch. Blizz's freeze attacks cause enemies to slow down. When you cast a boost on Blizz his attack could potentially shatter opponents on impact.
Stone Beast
Rocknaut is being held on the freezing side of Mount Kana because the cold keeps his strength down. If released, Rocknaut can hurl deadly boulders at Creeps and Uglores. Rocknaut's deadly boulder attack damages enemies on impact. When you cast a boost on Rocknaut his boulders will roll after the initial attack and inflict damage on nearby Creeps.
